ABOUT ME
Carleigh has over a decade of experience working with children of varying needs and abilities. With her background in acting, music and dance, she is able to bring artistic elements and boundless creativity to all her work. Carleigh has always been invested in and curious about new ideas and techniques that will help each individual she teaches to shine. As such, she completed yoga teacher training as well as the Compassionate Inquiry Workshop with Dr. Gabor Mate. This allows her to incorporate movement and mindfulness into her work with children and teens. After completing her advanced diploma in Behavioural Science Training at George Brown College, Carleigh began to blend ABA principles with art, humour and mindfulness allowing her to approach her clients in a diverse and multidisciplinary manner that supports their growth and development. Her goal is to foster a deep connection with her clients and watch them bloom.

PAST EXPERIENCE
Carleigh started her movement and dance journey at a very young age. Having attended the prestigious National Ballet School of Canada she was picked to perform the lead roles in The Nutcracker, pioneered the lead child role in The Contract, as well as multiple productions with the Canadian Opera Company. Her love of expression and performance only grew and she left to study drama at Etobicoke School Of the Arts where she was given the Award of Excellence in acting in their annual SEARS drama festival. Soon after Carleigh started working on screen, landing two major tv series back to back, and stage where she was noted as "The future of theatre". From there, Carleigh decided to travel and live abroad fulfilling her desire for enriched perspective of multiple cultures. When it was time to come home, Carleigh decided to take her learned experiences and apply them to her studies in Behavioural Science and her Yoga Teacher Training. Upon graduation Carleigh began incorporating her talents and tools working for Works of Wonder and Little Yogis as well as teaching yoga all over the GTA. In her spare time she volunteers as a counsellor on a crisis line and fosters/ rehabilitates dogs from around the world looking for a second chance at life and love. Carleigh uses and molds all of these impactful qualities and educations to blend in a way that is compassionate, fun, and introspective.
